Problem
Manchmal, wenn nichts mehr funktionieren will, muss man auch mal eine Neuinstallation wagen. Wie aber wird man alle Einträge los um einen saubere De-Installation zu bekommen?
Lösung
Mit folgendem Script können Sie Sophos Central Produkte de-installieren. Möglicherweise gibt es (mittlerweile) auch noch andere Stellen wo Dateien gelöscht werden müssen. Aber zumindest sollte dieses Script einen großen Brocken abnehmen. Allerdings werden meist ein paar Dinge übrig bleiben. Starten Sie das Script also nach einem Reboot nochmals.
WICHTIGER HINWEIS
Mit April 2020 ist ein Tool namens Sophos ZAP von Sophos veröffentlicht worden. Dieses Tool ersetzt eigentlich die Anleitung indiesem Artikel. Dennoch lasse ich den Artikel als Nachlese aufrecht.

Was Sie als immer machen sollten
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Manipulationsschutz deaktiviert ist, sonst schlagen De-Installationen fehl.
- De-Installieren Sie alle Produkte erst auf ganz normalen Weg (WIN+R -> appwiz.cpl)
- Starten Sie danach den Computer neu
- Wenden Sie erst jetzt das Script an
- Eine Sicherung zuvor ist immer anzuraten
(optional) Manipulationsschutz aufheben (ggf. im abgesicherten Modus)

Fügen Sie diesen Code in einen Texteditor und speichen Sie es als "sophos-central-uninstall-script.cmd" ab. Starten Sie das Batch File immer mit "Rechtsklick > Als Administrator...".
